Thor Moreno – Director / Writer

Known for his often dark and edgy films, writer and director Thor Moreno has assembled a provocative and unusual body of work since 2002. Splitting time between the west coast and the Midwest, Moreno has used this unique prospective to create complex character-driven films. His work has received rave reviews globally and he continues gain a reputation as a risk-taking director whose films must be seen.

Annette Duffy – Line Producer

Annette Marie Duffy was born on December 19, 1957 in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Annette receive a BS in Business Management from Upper Iowa University. She has been performing on local stages in Des Moines as well as stages throughout the Midwest since she was 13 years old. Her film debut was in the movie IOWA in which she transformed herself into a tough-loving grandma for the role of Mama. In addition to acting, Annette has continued her film career as a line producer and assistant director.

Jack Smith – PRODUCER / Writer

A California native who grew up on Air Force bases across America, he moved to Iowa in 1993 at age 37, arriving in June, he missed the final season of six on six by a couple of months. While living in Iowa he became enthralled by the storied history of six on six and what the game meant to the small towns of the state. Although he only lived in Iowa for three years, the stories he heard about “six on six” stayed with him when he returned to California in 1996 and began working on a fictionalized, composite treatment of those stories. In the ensuing twenty three years the treatment became a script and his dream of bring six on six basketball to the screen is finally coming true.


Jack is a former professional skateboarder who has pushed a skateboard across America four times, the first being in 1974, followed by crossings in 1984, 2003 and 2013. In 2018 at age 61 he became the first person to ride an electric skateboard across America. He is the founder and curator of the Morro Bay Skateboard Museum.
